European Defense Mobility Platform

The workhorse
replacing truck drivers
on the battlefield.

5QT builds hybrid-electric unmanned ground vehicles for European armed forces. Modular. Silent. Unlimited range. Powered by 4QT drivetrains — proven in the heaviest industries on earth.

“We look for technologically interesting manufacturers with whom we conclude framework agreements. This allows us to call up the latest technology at a later date.” — LTG Thomas Süssli, Former Chief of the Swiss Armed Forces

00 — Field Tested

Not a render.
It drives itself.

CERBERUS under autonomous control during live field trials — navigating to a waypoint and halting on target with no operator and no remote driver. This is what autonomy ready looks like in the field.

Live — Fully Autonomous

It drives itself to the objective.

No operator. No remote driver. CERBERUS navigates to the waypoint and halts on target — under its own control, on the 4QT drive-by-wire powertrain.

Field Trials

Open-Terrain Operation

Live conditions at a Swiss airfield. Real ground, real weather, real distances.

Field Trials

Endurance Run

Sustained operation on hybrid-electric power — range that outlasts the mission.

Articulated Steering

Kingpin Turn Radius

Full articulation at the central hinge. No conventional steering rack.

01 — Platform

CERBERUS UGV

A multi-role unmanned ground vehicle built on the same hybrid-electric architecture that powers construction machinery across three continents. One platform. Reconfigure in the field.

Silent Mode

Full-electric silent running for approach and resupply. Near-zero thermal signature at idle. Switch to hybrid only when range demands it.

No Rare Earths

Permanent-magnet-free switched reluctance machine. Zero dependency on Chinese rare-earth supply chains. European-sourced, European-manufactured.

80 kW Power Export

Power drone launchers, radar, EW, or field hospitals directly from the vehicle. One CERBERUS replaces a dedicated generator truck.

01b — Configurations

One platform.
Reconfigure the mission.

The same autonomy-ready chassis and 4QT hybrid-electric drivetrain, re-bodied for the task. Swap the load, not the vehicle.

Cargo Flatbed

Palletized resupply under camouflage netting — the contested-logistics workhorse.

02 — Capabilities

One platform,
four NATO-aligned roles

Swap the payload, not the vehicle. CERBERUS is designed around the capability gaps in the EU Defence Readiness Roadmap 2030.

Autonomous Last-Mile Resupply Field Proven

Contested Logistics

A palletized load on the flatbed, under camouflage netting — the real configuration, photographed in trials. Up to 4.6 tonnes delivered autonomously to forward positions. Replaces truck drivers on the most exposed tactical mile.

Mobile SHORAD · Counter-UAS

European Drone Defence

Mobile short-range air defence at the platoon level. Integrated kinetic interceptors and C2 systems detect, track, and neutralise Class I–III UAS threats.

Route Clearance · EOD

Remote Mine Action

Unmanned explosive ordnance disposal with multi-sensor fusion. Operators command from safe distance via satellite. Ground-penetrating radar and visual detection for route and area clearance.

CERBERUS UGV — multi-role platform
Persistent ISR · Force Protection

Critical Infrastructure Shield

Autonomous patrol and persistent surveillance for bases, borders, and energy infrastructure. 360° sensor coverage with drone launch capability. Acoustic stealth at the perimeter.

Security & Resilience · Dual-Use

Civil Protection & Disaster Relief

The same autonomous platform serves fire services, disaster response, and critical-supply missions in the homeland — moving heavy loads into hazardous zones without putting crews at risk. Already trialled alongside Swiss emergency services.

Context
“Robots are increasingly being used for some of the most dangerous tasks on the battlefield — now the primary method for resupplying forward positions too exposed for human troops.”
